Statistics watchdog confirms July–September GDP rise estimate at 5.5%

MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- The Federal State Statistics Service estimated the gross domestic product (GDP) growth in July–September at 5.5% on Wednesday confirming a preliminary assessment made in November.

The January–September GDP estimate was improved to 3% from 2.9%.

According to the earlier statements of the authority, the GDP fell by 1.8% in January–March and rose by 4.9% in April–June.
